New training module on clinical trials

Further to its first two modules on the hospital environment and the dispensary environment, Callimedia is adding to its training offer with a new e-learning module dedicated to clinical trials.

Understanding clinical trials and their regulatory environment is today an essential link in the healthcare chain for new and experienced representatives and clinical researcher delegates.

This module covers the basic requirements for understanding clinical trials in four chapters:

• The key notions for understanding clinical trials and their regulatory framework
• The fundamental elements of clinical studies: good clinical practice, the 3 levels of proof, bias and power of a trial, the qualities of judgement criteria
• The protocol to be followed for initiating and monitoring clinical trials, the presentation of results
• Critical reading of a publication

At the end of the module, the learner will have a detailed knowledge of the environment of clinical trials. There is a quiz to check understanding.
